CHATEAU KEFRAYA
Located in the West Bekaa Valley, the large estate of Château Kefraya has been the Bustros family’s property for generations. The first vines are planted in 1951 and in 1979 – despite the Lebanese civil war (1975-1990) – Château Kefraya starts producing its own wine with its own grapes grown in its own vineyard and vinified in its own cellar. Today, Château Kefraya is present in more than 40 countries over the five continents.
CHATEAU SAINT THOMAS
Chateau
St Thomas is a family business founded in 1990 by Saïd Touma and his family. Located on a hill overlooking the Bekaa Valley at an altitude
of more than 1000m, Chateau St Thomas comprises a vineyard (65 hectares) well
exposed on the eastern slope of Mount Lebanon, and a cellar dug 25m into
the rocks including a wine warehouse for fermentation and ageing. The
first vintage appeared in 1998. Chateau St Thomas has become the
pride of the wine production in Lebanon.
The wines have been awarded more than 60 medals in prestigious
international wine competitions since 2002.
CHATEAU KSARA
Founded in 1857 by Jesuit Priests, Château Ksara developed the first dry wine in Lebanon. Château Ksara wine is most popular in Lebanon, but due to a large Lebanese diaspora all over the world, it can be found and purchased in many different countries. Château Ksara produces approximately 3 million bottles annually. Its wines are exported to over 42 countries.
CHATEAU KHOURY
Located 1,300 meters above sea level in the eastern foothills of Mount Lebanon. It is a family-run vineyard, established by Raymond and Brigitte El Khoury. The first vines for wine production were planted in 1995 on a land that had been abandoned after the Lebanese civil war. Today the vineyard covers 15 hectares around the Château.
